Fix text inside images
Text inside an image does not resize, translate or reach assistive technology reliably.
The offer exists only as pixels.
Steps
- Look at banners.
- If the words are in the file, rebuild them as HTML.
- Repeat the words in text if the image must stay.
Failing example
A hero JPEG is the only place that says Free postage.
Better example
The offer is an HTML heading over a photo.
Shopify
Use a Shopify image-with-text section: real heading, real button, decorative photo.
WooCommerce
Rebuild WooCommerce slideshow captions as HTML.
WordPress
Use a WordPress Cover block with a real heading.
Wix
Put a Wix text element over the image instead of flattening the words into it.
